How We Provide Support
Financial Counseling and Home Ownership Education
Ongoing financial counseling and education is provided every step of the way. This includes information on budgeting, savings, and debt management strategies. Workshops and one-on-one sessions are also provided on topics such as mortgage financing, home maintenance, and legal responsibilities.
Credit Repair Assistance
Using a variety of tactics and strategies, we help participants improve their credit scores, which makes it easier for them to qualify for mortgages when they are ready to make a purchase.
Community Engagement
Beyond building a home, we’re building a community. We encourage our participants to engage in community projects with us that promote neighborhood revitalization and cohesion. This includes neighborhood clean-ups, home maintenance workshops, and community-building events. These activities foster a sense of community and empower families to contribute positively to their neighborhood.
